Status of our Listings

Incremental updates happen continuously. Everything we know is in our databases as soon as we confirm it (literally within days). The only way we can keep up is if our visitors (you!) help us by contributing.

Purpose and Scope of the Race Track Locator Web Site

ChasinRacin®'s Race Track Locator is a tool to search for basic information about motor racing facilities in the United States and Canada. The purpose is to give the web user enough basic information to find the track or contact them by telephone.

The user can search for race tracks in three ways:

• by navigating to a detailed map and then clicking on a colored dot representing a track
• by typing in a portion of a track name or a city or town
• by type of track (oval, road course, etc) and racing surface

When the user submits the search, the response will be a track data table. The track data tables contain basic information about the track or tracks matching the search. The information includes:

• Track Name, City, and State or Province
• Type of track, racing surface, length and other basic structural facts
• Driving directions to the track and the Track Phone Number
• General information about race dates and racing classes
• Web Site address (URL) if any
• Other information of interest

This site currently covers the USA and Canada. Other countries may follow.

The Race Track Locator site has other information about race tracks including:

• Track Photos
• Links to Race Track web sites, racing event sites and other track directories

The track database is updated regularly (at least once a week). However, not all information is always current. (You would be amazed at how few tracks care about free advertising on the web).
The information is provided free with the user being granted the right to use the information for his own enjoyment. The tracks do not pay for this service and they are not responsible for the accuracy. The publishers (Chasin Racin) cannot be held liable for the accuracy of the information. Please call the track and confirm the information before you rely on it. If any information is found to be incorrect, please fill out the additions corrections form or email RTL@chasinracin.com

Whenever you see this logoyou can click on it to return to the Race Track Locator home page (ditto for all styles of that logo)

Clicking on a flag takes you to that country/state/province map

Use the back button (or menu option or whatever) in your browser to return to a previously used form. If you use the button bar, it will reset the form to default values

The button bars and track locator maps are implemented as image maps. Sometimes if you are moving your mouse when you click, you'll get unexpected results. Also, let the maps (and all pages in general) load fully before clicking for best results.
